Essay
My Ambition
“Dream is not what you see while sleeping; it is something that doesn't let you sleep” – Dr. Abdul Kalam.
Every student has some kind of aim in life. It is always good to develop an ambition in life. Some want to become an engineer, a lawyer, a doctor, a businessman, or a political leader. Like others, I also have an aim in my life: I want to become a teacher.
“Teachers are the angels who change our lives and shape our future.”
I am not hungry for fame; rather, I think that fame is like a bubble that can burst anytime. Wealth does not attract me. I don’t want to live the glamorous life of a film star. I want to serve the youth of my nation in every humble capacity. In my country, about 40% of the population is illiterate. I firmly believe that I can serve the poor youth in the best possible manner by becoming a teacher.
“Knowledge is the wealth that cannot be stolen away.”
Teaching is the profession that is the base of all professions in the world. By becoming a teacher, I want to become a guide, a philosopher, and a real friend to my students. I believe that in the present era, our country is facing two major issues: quality education and illiteracy. It is also true that education is wealth which cannot be stolen away. It is truly a boon to have a good teacher who teaches the importance of life, moral values, and ethics.
Blessings of Science
Science is a great blessing to all of us. It has changed our world in amazing ways. Through scientific progress, we have learned how nature works and made many new discoveries. These discoveries bring big advantages to our daily lives.
Science makes human life comfortable in simple ways. Long ago, people walked everywhere or used animals. Now, we have cars, trains, buses, and airplanes that take us fast. Electricity lights our homes and runs fans, TVs, and fridges. We get clean water from taps and cook food quickly on gas stoves. Washing machines clean our clothes, and phones let us talk to anyone far away. All these things save time and make work easy.
Medical advances are one of the biggest gifts of science. Doctors can now cure diseases like fever, TB, and polio with medicines and vaccines. Hospitals have X-rays, scans, and machines to check our health. Surgeries fix broken bones and remove tumors safely. Heart problems that killed people before are now treated with new methods. Because of science, we live longer and stay healthy.
Technological advances have made life even better. Computers help us study and work from home. The internet gives knowledge from anywhere in the world. Satellites show weather and help farmers grow more food. Robots do hard jobs in factories, and mobile phones keep us connected. Space science has given us better tools for farming and communication.
Science solves problems and opens new doors. It helps fight hunger, pollution, and illness. But we must use it wisely to protect nature. Science is truly a blessing that makes our world better and brighter!
